Case Studies

Peter engaged WBP before making an offer on a family home. The property was valued at 950,000 and Peter made the offer. The vendors asked for $985,000 which Peter rejected, presenting the real estate agent with the property valuation. The sellers accepted the original offer of $950,000 saving Peter and his family $35,000 and ensuring peace of mind they had not paid too much.

“Doubt it would have happened without an independent valuation. Thanks again.” Peter.

Arthur had decided to move into a retirement village. He requested a valuation when his neighbour offered him $700,000 to buy his property in Ashgrove. He owed nothing on the property and so $700,000 seemed reasonable, but Arthur wanted to ensure his children got what was rightfully theirs in the way of an inheritance. The property was valued at $840,000.

Julie and Brian were in the cooling off period after signing a contract of sale in a new apartment complex. The valuation came back at $25,000 less than contract price which was based on the sales evidence presented to Julie and Brian by the developer. These sales were from international buyers who were not familiar with the local market. Based on our valuation the sales price was renegotiated.

What People think about WBP Group Qld

The team at WBP group are great. I have had a few valuers to my property recently and majority of them have been grumpy and not friendly at all. The team at WBP have been to my property on multiple occasions now and every time they have turned up on time, with a smile and a friendly personality. The team are also very knowledgeable in a number of areas and they are happy to assist wherever they can. I would highly recommend them especially Casper who is awesome! Thanks team.

Janice Elsley

I enlisted the services of WBP Group and throughout the process, Jonathan displayed an exceptional level of generosity with his time, as we engaged in several phone conversations. Despite me facing pressure to accept a lower price, Jonathan remained confident in the accuracy of his valuation. I relayed his commentary to my real estate agent, expressing my desire for offers that aligned with what he believed was accurate. Within a few weeks, we successfully attracted a buyer who agreed to pay the asking price for my property. I was thoroughly impressed by Johnathan’s professionalism and precision and would recommend WBP Group to anyone. Feel free to contact me for more details.

Gary Carson

I had a fantastic experience with Chris and the WBP team. I could not speak higher of them. Very appreciative of their hard work!

Peter is one of my go to valuers whenever I’m needing assistance or recommending a client who needs a valuation. His experience and depth of local market knowledge is always appreciated.
